User management allows you to create, edit and manage your users.
User Management
Add user / Edit user.
To create a new user click the Add user button, to edit a user click the Edit icon edit and you will be presented with the following modal:
Active - with this on the user will be able to log-in, deactivating it disables user login.
2FA required - requires the user to use 2FA to login.
Title - soon to be deprecated, optional.
Name - Jolojo stores a single record as a name, up to you how you use it, e.g. John or John Smith etc. Optional.
Email - email is the username of the user.
Phone - Telephone number. Optional.
User Scopes - All available user scopes will be displayed here. See USER SCOPING.
- Delete user
This will remove the user from the system. Please note, at the database level, the user is not deleted.
- Send password
When you set-up a user manually, Jolojo does not automatically send the user a password email. Click this icon, select an email template to use to send the email and select a page for the user to set-up their password. Jolojo will autodetect pages with the Reset Password plugin on and populate the drop down selector, if no pages have this plugin on you will need to create a page first before you can send users a password email.
- Impersonate User
Click this icon to impersonate a user. You will be reminded that you are impersonating a user by a persistent notification at the top of the screen. If the user you are impersonating does not have administration privileges, the Jolojo Admin interface will be unavailable until your stop impersonating.
