Timeline Plugin

The timeline plugin allows you to display a number of different events on a timeline-styled chart on your page. These 'events' are distinguished by name, link date and can also have a thumbnail to display an image on each timeline event.

Adding a Timeline

  • To add a new plugin to a page, select the "+" (General Plugins) icon in the left hand side menu.
  • Locate the Timeline plugin and drag and drop it onto the page, into whichever content block you would like it.
  • Once you have done this, the Timeline modal will pop up - which provides you with the ability to add information to the timeline.

Setting up the plugin:

  • When you first open the Testimonial plugin up, you need to add your first event by selecting "Add an event to get started".
  • You then have 4 fields show for the event information:
    - Event Name: the name that you want to give the event in the timeline
    - Event Link: a URL for another page that you want the event to link to (if left empty, the event won't link)
    - Event Date: the date of the event
    - Testimonial Thumbnail: you can upload an image here using the file manager selector, this image will then show alongside the event in the timeline.
  • Once you have entered all of the details you want for the particular event, you can select "Add Event", this will add it to the list of events in the plugin.
  • To add a new event after adding your first, select "Create New Event"

Once you have made all of the changes you would like to make to the plugin, select Save Plugin and remember to save at the top of the page once previewing the plugin.
